WHAT NEW AGENTS SHOULD KNOW AND DO?

Sniff out the underserved niche, find the area of the business that you excel in, that you enjoy, that works best for you and become a specialist in the area.

Avoid the shiny object. stat with very specific focused strategy and go deep on that until you have it mastered.

To be successful, you must make the mental shift to view yourself as a “professional lead generator.”

If you’re a new real estate agent starting out in 2023, I would suggest picking an area and holding an open house every weekend for one year.

Host open houses, and if you don’t have any listings, reach out to a busy broker that may need help.

Follow the top agents on LinkedIn and Instagram. Posting strong content and supporting followers.

Open houses, social media, video marketing, and contacting your sphere of influence to remind them you are in the industry are huge must to do.

Most buyers start searching the market and talking with multiple agents about homes 6-12 months in advance of purchasing.

Make it known to your friends and family that you are a real estate agent. Get involved in community-based events and associations.

Remember, everyone you come in contact with is a potential client.

Figure out where and how you want to connect with new prospects and double down on creating new relationships and communities in our new post-pandemic world.

Invest in yourself and your brand. Make yourself stand out amongst the competition.

Educate the seller and inform them of their equity and prepare them for realistic expectations.

communicating respectfully is key for success, along with setting realistic expectation for how the transaction process will unfold
